Wine of the Week - Assolati Sangiovese!

This organically-made Sangiovese from the small, mountainous region of Montecucco in Tuscany has notes of strawberry and cherry balanced by fine tannin and is an ideal pairing for the classic Florentine steak.


Montecucco was featured in Somm Journal earlier this year, with David Ransom saying, "... most of Montecucco’s producers are making small amounts of wine and maintain small vineyards, of which approximately 70% are organically farmed."
