Wine of the Week - Jean-Charles Fagot Rully

Bargains in Burgundy can be hard to come by nowadays. Enter our wine of the week - Jean-Charles Fagot's Rully Blanc: 100% Chardonnay from southern Burgundy.

Rully is the first village in the Côte Chalonnaise as you move south out of the Côte d’Or. The soils are more limestone-heavy and the area is ideal for growing Chardonnay. The average age of the vines for this wine is 30 years old. Manual harvest followed by temperature-controlled fermentation with natural yeasts.
