Wine of the Week - Le Roc "Folle Noire d'Ambat" Fronton Rouge

The new Wine of the Week comes from the southwest of France. The Le Roc "Folle Noire d'Ambat" is made from 100% Negrette, an indigenous grape to this region that produces deep colored, fruity, low-tannin wines.

A recent review of the 2014 vintage in Wine Enthusiast says: "This wine comes from a clay and ironstone vineyard that has produced an intensely perfumed wine. It balances a smooth structure and vivid black fruits. The tannins are light and rounded."
