Wine of the Week - Lou Dumont Gevrey-Chambertin

Made from winemaker Koji Nakada's own estate fruit, this Gevrey-Chambertin reflects the respectful and balanced approach to the environment and viticultural practiced throughout the domaine.

The three Japanese characters on their label stand for sky, earth, and man, with all three together representing the concept of terroir.  The wine has a complex nose with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and undergrowth. The palate shows subtle aromas of spice, red fruits, and earth.
As is the hallmark of Lou Dumont, this wine shows great elegance and site-specific typicity. #wineoftheweek
