Recipe Thursday - Korean BBQ

This week's featured recipe is one that allows for nearly endless variation. A staple of Korean BBQ, Bon Appetit's version of Bulgogi is a marinated meat dish that is sweet, spicy, and salty - and addictive. Traditionally made with beef, you can swap in other proteins easily, making this a versatile dish for whatever you have on hand.

And since we're still in the heat of summer, why not pair this dish with a white wine, upping the refreshment level. We love a Chenin Blanc as a white that can stand up to bold flavors, and our two offerings from Benôit Mérias just fit the bill here. The sparkling "La Methode Traditionelle" provides a fun, bright accompaniment to this recipe, while the still "Les Quartes" anchors this dish with a little more weight and texture. Either way, you can't go wrong!
