Recipe Thursday: True Comfort Food


You know that old friend you can always count on? Or, the song you can listen to over and over, and you never get tired of it? Food and wine can also be that way. A hearty meal and a glass of a delicious, easy-drinking red wine will always bring comfort, time and time again.

As we get into the middle of winter, nothing sounds better than a warming, slow-cooked Coq a Vin with a glass of generous Font du Vent Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge. Ina Garten’s version of Coq a Vin features chicken, pancetta and umami-rich vegetables in a simmering red wine sauce.
