Recipe Thursday: National Barbeque Month


May brings us a plethora of festive, food-centered holidays – Cinco de Mayo, graduation, Mother’s Day, to name a few. It’s also National Barbeque Month, which means it’s about time to get the grill out of hibernation. It also means warming temperatures, alfresco dining, and lots and lots of rosé. So, to kick off May and to gear up for casual gatherings to come, we’re highlighting a pairing of BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Herdade do Rocim "Mariana" Rosé

Pizza and wine are meant to be, and in particular, the lighter-style BBQ Chicken Pizza from Pinch of Yum pairs beautifully with the Rocim “Mariana” Rosé, a crisply fruity blend of Touriga Nacional and Aragonez. The soft spice and warm red fruit flavors in the rosé faintly echo the tangy, warm notes in the BBQ pizza.
