Recipe Thursday: Easy As Pie Pizza Party (with Rosé!)

Our recipe for easy entertaining this summer: invite friends over, grab some super fresh ingredients from the farmers market, and throw an easy-as-pie pizza pie party (say that three times fast). Of course, this shindig wouldn’t be complete without rosé, because summer. We’ll be reaching for a bottle of Montaribaldi Langhe Rosato to go along with a freshly made Caramelized Onion, Goat Cheese, and Prosciutto Pizza, recipe courtesy of Handle the Heat.

The great thing about the Montaribaldi Rosato is that it’s made from 100% Nebbiolo, so it can stand up to most pizza toppings, goat cheese and prosciutto included. The savory and refreshing notes on this wine beautifully match the earthy notes in the pizza, while the bright acidity in the rosé cuts right through the richness of the cheese and meat.
