Recipe Thursday: Summer Solstice Edition

How will you be spending the longest day of the year this year (which happens to be tomorrow)? We have about 1,000 ideas, but one thing’s for sure -- we’ll be drinking good wine and eating good food. We’re thinking an Epic Charcuterie Board from Reluctant Entertainer along with a bottle of Jean-Charles Bourgogne Rouge ‘Les Riaux’ will be a great way to unwind outdoors and enjoy the extended sunshine.

Charcuterie and Bourgogne rouge happen to make an exceptional pair as the dark berry notes in the Pinot Noir highlight the subtle flavors that make smoked meats so enjoyable. In addition, this red Burgundy has enough acid to cut through the fat of an herbaceous fatty pâté and rich cheeses.
