Recipe Thursday: Summer Clambake

Few dishes signify summer quite like a clambake. However, the clambake is more than just a dish, it’s an experience. It’s the perfect opportunity to bring friends and family together for a no-frills feast that celebrates the height of summer. Clambakes can feature a variety of seafood, including clams, lobster and shrimp (see Ina Garten’s recipe).

Keep guests’ glasses full with a low-alcohol, quintessential summer white, such as the Herdade do Rocim Vinho Verde 'Goivo'. With razor sharp acidity and a hint of ocean freshness, it’s an ideal pairing for a steaming plate of seafood. Serve with some crusty bread and extra butter on the side.
